My name is Sam! I am a Virginia native, a graduate of UVA, and I want to find the best real estate agent for you!
My path to becoming a licensed real estate referral agent started towards the end of my time at UVa. I had become interested in real estate investment, and I wanted to learn more about it as a vehicle to attaining financial and time freedom—that is, a means of allowing me to pursue ventures I am passionate about such as writing, teaching, and entrepreneurship, without having to worry about money as much.
After talking with several real estate professionals: agents, developers, and investors, I felt that it would be wise to obtain a real estate license to develop a foundational knowledge of the industry and to potentially make some money. My goal from the start was to learn, not necessarily to become a real estate sales agent.
As I neared the end of the 60-hour pre-licensing course, I found out about referral agents. Designating my real estate license as a referral license instead of an active sales license would allow me to continue to serve others by connecting them with great agents for one of the biggest transactions of their lives. It would also allow me to keep my license active and to potentially make some money off of those referrals.
So, that’s what I decided to do.
Though I grew up in Northern Virginia and have lived in Harrisonburg and Charlottesville, Virginia, I can make referrals to almost anywhere in the country through the brokerage I have my license hung under, Referral Realty, INC. and the work I put in to find my clients great agents.
So if you’re interested in buying or selling a home, let me do the work of finding a great agent for you, at no cost to you.
